To The Max

Long with long on these fabulously cold days, adding sweater legging to give a little more warmth to the otherwise 'light' maxi dress.

With A Touch Of Paisley

I've had this dress for years (seen here) and never once thought to try it as a skirt, well until today when I opted to pair it with another dress worn as a top and belt it a my (empire) waist. I threw on a cropped denim jacket and boots for a little stroll by the lake.

Rainy Day Spots

When I was getting dressed this morning the skies were blue and there wasn't a cloud in sight, but of course as soon as we're leaving to head to town blue turns to grey and the rain started to fall. And since I was in no mood to change I was determined to make the outfit work for the weather, especially since we were just going to get a cup of coffee and sit by the fire for a bit while my grandparents gave us a break from our "lovely toddler". Eck, am I really having another one? Well, here's to hoping I keep my sanity with an overachieving toddler and a new baby....

I love this leopard maxi, it's one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now - it's light, airy and has an elastic waistband (which is an absolute must right about now). I paired it with a belted knit sweater vest (seen here), leggings and booties. Completing the look with a leather jacket for added warmth and a ruffled bag.

Falling for Fall

Fall happens to be my favorite season, I love the layering, boots and tights. Which makes it a little harder when you're pregnant and growing. At just over 13 weeks, my clothes are already getting a little snug...which I hear happens the second time around. None the less, I will not let this ruin my favorite season and will find a way to be Pregnant and Fabulous. Today my husband, son and I decided to go for a picnic in the park since the weather was oh so gorgeous. I can't believe it's actually fall in Florida, pinch me! I opted for a printed maxi dress paired with a (highly placed) belted cardigan and platform sandals.

Pregnant and Fabulous Tip: I love maxi dresses during pregnancy and it turns out they're right on target for fall.  And they're the most comfortable chic dresses out there, especially on glowing pregnant women. Pair them with heels or flats, a fitted jackets or cardigan.  Don't forget to play with color, prints and ruffles.
