Glamour Bump

Adding color to my seemingly mostly black wardrobe not only gives me a little more 'sunshine' but it also can be a lot prettier. I couldn't believe how pretty this dress (see full review here) was when I first got it, and paired with the sweater gave it an unusual casual glamour that could be worn for brunch, work, a date or even a shopping excursion.

Wrap It Up, Cobalt

FashionJunkee.com sent me with fabulous dress, and I couldn't wait to put it on. Turns out it's perfect for us pregnant ladies, and before and after! Check Out my full review here.

Dotty Spotty

I'd have to say that black and white prints are on of my favorites, they're classic and seem to go with everything, even another print like a subtle plaid. Add some tights and a pile of necklaces and voila!

Berry Bow

I finally found most of my clothes that were 'lost' in storage from the move, mainly my tights. Whew that was stressful, turns out they were pretty much right in front of my face the whole time and I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when I'm pregnant, with that being said I now can get back to wearing tights and flaking about the little things.

Giddy Gray

With all this hustling and bustling to get things packed to move next week, I've almost forgotten that it's almost Christmas and that I have some loose ends to tie up (i.e. gifts). Luckily I had a little free time to do such things today, and get the necessary ingredients to make fudge to send out to the family (which I'll be sharing with you, of course). Since the weather has been windy of sorts I paired my oversized gray sweater  with a sweater dress, tights and uber comfy boots. Adding a pop of color to complete the look...

I'll Play The Jacquard

So it turns out that this strike against 'maternity pants' is leaving my options limited to dresses, tights (& leggings), and jeans. And though I'm not entirely sad about that, I'm sure breaking down and getting something to mix it up a little more is going to happen in the near future. But for now mixing it up in other ways will have to work, such as including this amazing jacquard jacket into my ensemble. I especially love it paired with this simple body skimming dress and boots, though I'm not sold on the belt.

For The Love of Color

Everyone needs a some color every now and then (or everyday) to put a little pep in your step. I decided after finding this dress in my closet that it had to be paired with something equally as eye catching, such as this sweater (and accidentally matching bag), completing the look with a warm leather jacket to tone things down and booties.

Caped Crusader

When I think of plaid the holidays always come to mind, from plaid ribbons and bows to adorable plaid vests on tiny tots. So with Christmas just around the corner I thought to get a little more festive with my perfectly plaid ensemble, dressy yet casual enough to shop in (though these shoes are extremely uncomfortable). I paired the dress with a cape I thrifted last month in NC and golden accents. Though I'm starting to have feelings the cape is more than likely a little large for me, but hey it's warm.

Hello Stripes

I've always loved this striped jacket, minus the overbearing bell sleeves. It's the right amount of stripes and has an adorable bow on the neckline (which is covered by my hair, hmph). I was happy that the temperatures have dropped to the point of being able to comfortably wearing it, paired with a simple black knit dress and boots.

Midas Touch

I've been looking high and low for a couple fabulous and festive dresses for the holidays, who knew all I had to do was look in my closet (at my parents) and I found this amazing number. In the past it's been a little big and I wasn't very fond of the empire waistline, but now it's a the perfect match for my growing bump (let's hope it still fits in a couple of weeks). I wasn't going too glamourous today so I threw on a belted cardigan and studded booties with colorful accessories. Since I'm little help finding my dress in the closet, I did actually happen to stumble on some pretty and festive dresses at Motherhood Maternity yesterday afternoon.
