 It seems I'm a little on the patriotic side this morning, which was completely unplanned, of course. 

The weather had been quite fickle lately going from 50 degree weather one day and 75 degree weather the next, I wish I could plan better with the weather man for better posts ;).

 Happy Monday! Did any of you check out the Globes last night? Who was your favorite and least, my least was probably Natalie Portman's less than flattering dress and my favorite was between Anne Hathaway's golden ensemble and Claire Danes' pink gown. Fall Colors

When it comes to my hair 90% (ok more like 95%) of the time I let it go it's unruly wavy way (seen here), either because I'm kind of lazy or because my husband loves it and considers it my 'trademark'. Never the less, I love when I have time to actually blow dry my hair and amaze myself that I feel a little more put together on these rare occasions. Ah the little things.

Jumping for Jeggings

I finally broke down and got a pair of jeggings, and even though pre-pregnancy I wasn't sold on the idea I absolutely am now. I ended up finding a great organic eco-friendly pair by Eco Yoga when I stopped into TjMaxx the other day for under $20. They feel incredible on and can be worn all day and I don't have to rush home to change, like when I was forcing my self in to my skinny jeans. I paired them with a plaid button down and a warm knit scarf.

Giddy Gray

With all this hustling and bustling to get things packed to move next week, I've almost forgotten that it's almost Christmas and that I have some loose ends to tie up (i.e. gifts). Luckily I had a little free time to do such things today, and get the necessary ingredients to make fudge to send out to the family (which I'll be sharing with you, of course). Since the weather has been windy of sorts I paired my oversized gray sweater  with a sweater dress, tights and uber comfy boots. Adding a pop of color to complete the look...

I'll Play The Jacquard

 So it turns out that this strike against 'maternity pants' is leaving my options limited to dresses, tights (& leggings), and jeans. And though I'm not entirely sad about that, I'm sure breaking down and getting something to mix it up a little more is going to happen in the near future. But for now mixing it up in other ways will have to work, such as including this amazing jacquard jacket into my ensemble. I especially love it paired with this simple body skimming dress and boots, though I'm not sold on the belt.

When It Rains It Pours

 I love pairing dressy pieces with casual items like this knee length cardigan and boots, it's feminine but doesn't seem too over thought. I hate those days where it takes me forever to decide what to wear only to look like I'm trying to hard and have to change again. Today luckily wasn't one of those days, but the weather did happen to put a damper on the whole thing with the excessive wind, rain and poor lighting conditions during my attempt to photograph today's look. All that for a quick trip to the mall...

With A Touch Of Paisley

I've had this dress for years (seen here) and never once thought to try it as a skirt, well until today when I opted to pair it with another dress worn as a top and belt it a my (empire) waist. I threw on a cropped denim jacket and boots for a little stroll by the lake.

Hello Stripes

 I've always loved this striped jacket, minus the overbearing bell sleeves. It's the right amount of stripes and has an adorable bow on the neckline (which is covered by my hair, hmph). I was happy that the temperatures have dropped to the point of being able to comfortably wearing it, paired with a simple black knit dress and boots.

Right With Red

 It always amazes me on my ever changing moods with color, last year around this time you more than likely couldn't get me in red. Yet this year I'm all about the color red, from dresses to tops to cropped jackets. Maybe this year I'm feeling a little more festive or perhaps fiery with my bump, who knows. I paired this adorable plaid cropped jacket with skinny jeans and a vested ruffled top to do a little Christmas shopping and grab lunch with my mom.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend, I'm off to run some last minute errands for the day. I opted for comfy by pairing this adorable Sweet P tunic with leggings, OTK boots and a boyfriend blazer.

Zig and Zag

I love a good print dress, especially one that fits right about now. So I was pleasantly surprised when I reached into my closet and pulled this eye popping number out and realized it actually fit. It's perfect for those cool days where you need something a little heavier but it's light enough when that Florida weather gets fickle in the middle of the day. I paired it with navy opaque tights and brown leather slouchy boots, completing with a knit bag and a chunky statement necklace.

A Room With A View

 With our vacation coming to an end we're trying to fit as much sit seeing in to ''impress'' Aiden (which is a lost cause by the way). We took him up to the top of the mountain behind the house and show him the view, turns out he was more interested in the reflector he found sitting on the side of the road. Hey, we tried. I paired my newly acquired cape with a sweater dress, tights and slouchy leather boots for the short trek.
